DropMint is the laundry service of the future, we provide speedy dry cleaning and Wash N Fold laundry options through our mobile application, website, and/or by text/phone.
Where does DropMint take my garments?
DropMint isn't a middleman that hands your garments off to someone else to clean. Your clothing is too important to you and to us. That's why we operate our own cleaning facilities. To make sure we maintain the highest levels of quality.
How do I order?
Simply download our free app on the Apple app store or Google Play.
Is DropMint available in my area?
Currently serving the majority of San Diego
How do I change my order time?
Change of plans? DropMint to the rescue! Email us at support@ilovedropmint.com to make sure we get it right or text us at (858) 433-6370. Please cancel or make modifications at least 3 hours before your chosen pickup time or charges may apply.
Can I have DropMint come the same time every few weeks?
Of Course! Give us a text at (858) 433 - 6370 so that we can sign you up
Having a laundry party at work? Setup recurring pickups at the same time and address and enjoy a discount on the entire order, contact 858.433.6370 or support@ilovedropmint.com to setup in less than a minute.
What if my Minty Man is running behind schedule?
We do everything we can to honor the time slot you chose, but sometimes there are unexpected delays beyond our control (traffic, weather, car trouble, etc). We also know how busy you are, so if we’re a bit behind schedule and you just can’t wait, we offer pickup and delivery without your presence or let us know, and we’re happy to reschedule your order free of charge.

Preparing For Your First Pick Up
Do I need to separate my clothes?
Yes, but don’t worry its easy! Just separate your Dry Cleaning items from your Wash & Fold items and your good to go! Feel free to leave your dirty laundry outside in garbage bags for pickup or use our reusable DropMint bags. Upon delivery of your 1st order you will receive reusable DropMint bags that you can use for next time!
We are not responsible for any loose items such as watches, jewelry, money, or lint balls lost in the cleaning process. If clothing is needed to be left outside for pick up, we suggest reusing our custom DropMint bags or garbage bags.
What should I do if I am constantly not home and don’t have time to wait for a Minty Man?
A great question we get a lot! Our customers have done a few things, if your work is a part of one of our areas we cover schedule your pick up and drop off times when you will be at work and we will be there! If that is not an option, simply separate your items and leave them with your building concierge or right outside your door. We suggest reusing your custom DropMint bags we give out with every order to leave your clothing left for pick up in.
What about my special preferences?
You will be able to indicate your detergent preference and delivery preference during your order. If you have any additional special requests, you may add them into the special notes section or let your Minty Man know. We know how important your clothing is to you, so we do our best to get it done just the way you like it
Can you pick up/drop off my dry cleaning & laundry items even if I’m not at home?
Yes, actually a lot of our customers do it that way! Please leave any special instructions about your order beforehand.
Pricing & Billing
How do I pay? How am I billed?
When you place an order, your card will be checked for authenticity. This is to ensure that your card is valid before we process an order. Your card will then be charged for the full balance after pick up of your order. You will be emailed an itemized receipt. Have a question about charges? Feel free to reach out to customer support at any time.
Is there an order minimum?
Our order minimum is $35.
What if I do not have enough clothing to meet the order minimum?
That is A-OK, we will simply just charge you the minimum order amount and still process your clothes.
Is there a delivery fee?
Nope! Free pick up and delivery.
How will my order be charged?
We charge to the .05lb for Wash N Fold and charge Dry Cleaning per piece, please see prices if interested.
What if I miss my pick up or dropoff?
We understand that life happens and you can't always be home when you intended. If you know in advance that you won't be there for your DropMint rendezvous and it's unsafe to leave your order by your door, please adjust your delivery time by phone 858.433.6370. or reach out to our helpful customer support team at support@ilovedropmint.com to avoid any unnecessary charges. If a Minty Man does get to your door and in the event we are unable to reach you and your order must be delivered personally, we will charge a $9.99 "no show" fee and coordinate a more convenient time to visit.
Our Service
What type of detergent do you use?
We offer two types of detergent: Allergy Free (7th Generation or equivalent) or a scented option (Tide Brand). You will be able to select which detergent type you prefer through the preferences subsection when you place your order.
Is your dry cleaning green?
Absolutely! Our facility uses either ‘Green Earth’ or Hydrocarbon solvent for cleaning which are the most green-friendly options for dry cleaning. No perc is used during our Dry Cleaning process.
Are there certain materials you can’t process?
Yes, unfortunately given the delicate nature of leather, we are unable to process leather at this time. This includes faux leather and suede. We are also unable to process rugs, curtains, or any articles containing hazardous materials, severe smoke damage, or blood/human excrement. If there is an item that our cleaning team is unable to process, you will be notified and it will be returned folded, but uncleansed.
What about that pesky stain I can’t seem to remove?
We do our absolute best to remove stains, but some are unfortunately permanent. Once stains have become part of the fabric, continued attempts to remove them will cause dye loss or fabric damage known as chafing or fraying.
Can DropMint hang/line dry or hand wash my clothing?
No, we cannot hand wash garments at this time. Yes we can hang dry certain items :) Some of these items; however, can be processed with extreme care by drying them on the lowest setting. Let us know if any such items are included in your order, and we’ll see what we can do!
But where do you actually take my clothes?
We have two DropMint facilities that process Wash N Fold orders and Dry Clean orders which is why we ask that you separate your clothing. We ensure that both of our facilities meet the strictest industry standards in taking care of your clothing.
In the event my items are lost or damaged?
In the event your item was damaged or lost due to DropMint's processing we will reimburse you up to 10% of the items value with proof of its value. Reimbursement will not exceed $30.
Do I get to keep the awesome DropMint bag?
Yep, you sure do! Every year, approximately 700 million plastic dry cleaning bags head straight for the landfills. DropMint wants to help drive that number down by providing customers with reusable laundry & dry cleaning bags!

What is Wash & Fold?
This is best for all dryer safe clothing. Your clothing will be washed, dried, and then returned folded.
What is Dry Cleaning and how will I know if an item is meant to be dry cleaned?
Dry cleaning refers to a cleaning process involving chemical solvents. You should dry clean items made of delicate fabrics (silk, wool, etc) or items that can’t withstand the rumble and tumble of a typical washing machine or dryer.
Ok, so then what is laundering?
Laundering is a process reserved for men’s cotton button down shirts. Laundered items are washed and then steam pressed and hung for delivery.
